Project Description

Challenges

Darien High School’s auditorium had aging AV systems that limited sound quality, streaming capabilities, and lighting control. Performers struggled with echo issues and outdated equipment that didn’t meet modern performance needs. The space needed a full upgrade to support both school productions and external events. The goal was to create a professional-grade environment that could serve students, staff, and the broader community.

Solutions

Metinteractive replaced the sound system, added a professional-grade streaming setup, installed a large LED video wall, and upgraded stage lighting and masking. These improvements brought the auditorium up to professional standards and made it easier for students and staff to operate. The space now supports high-quality performances and real-world learning experiences. The upgrades also positioned the school as a leader in AV technology among regional educational institutions.

The video wall was funded by a generous grant from the Darien Foundation.

“Metinteractive’s upgrade has been very user friendly, and the students are able to work with equipment they encounter in other real-world situations.”
