Veteran industry leader brings over two decades of broadcast and venue technology expertise to accelerate national growth and market visibility
Metinteractive, a women-owned audio, video, and IT design and integration firm specializing in national entertainment venues, today announced that Ken Cyr has joined the company as Director of Strategic Accounts & Partnerships.
Ken brings more than 20 years of experience in broadcast and professional technology markets, with a career built on long-standing relationships across manufacturers, consultants, integrators, and venue operators. Most recently, he served as National Sales Manager at Kokusai Denki Electric America, following an 18-year tenure with Hitachi Kokusai Electric America, where he held senior sales leadership roles overseeing both national and bi-coastal markets.
In his new role, Ken will focus on growing Metinteractive’s service organization, strengthening strategic partnerships, identifying integration opportunities, and serving as a market ambassador for ElationLogic, Metinteractive’s product platform.
“Ken embodies the kind of leadership we value at Metinteractive — relationship-driven, technically grounded, and deeply collaborative,” said Rachel Mele, CEO, at Metinteractive. “He understands how to build trust over time and how to represent a company with clarity and integrity. As we continue to expand our service organization and partnerships, Ken is a natural fit for both our culture and our long-term vision.”
“Ken is uniquely positioned to help us tell the Metinteractive story more broadly and more confidently,” said Jeff Mele, Chief Commercial Officer at Metinteractive. “We’ve been delivering complex, mission-critical systems across the country, for clients including the University of Michigan, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the University of Connecticut. Metinteractive is the only top 50 systems integrator headquartered in Connecticut and feel we are the best kept secret in the industry, even with a national footprint and solving some of the most complex challenges in the sports and entertainment spaces. Ken’s ability to open doors, build trust, and amplify who we are and what we do will be instrumental as we immerse deeper into Connecticut and surrounding states and continue our exponential growth nationally.”
“I’m excited to join Metinteractive at a time when the company is poised for its next phase of growth,” said Ken Cyr. “What stood out to me immediately was the combination of technical excellence, collaboration, and genuine care for clients. Metinteractive is doing exceptional work across the country, and I’m looking forward to helping expand awareness of the impact this team delivers through service, integration, and ElationLogic.”
